Pepsi Super Bowl LVIII

 

Challenge: As part of a massive collaboration between Pepsi, Paramount Pictures, Gladiator II, the NFL and Regal Cinemas, Pepsi created the Make Your Game Day Epic campaign featuring iconic hip hop artist Megan Thee Stallion and NFL superstars Travis Kelce, Derrick Henry, Josh Allen and Justin Jefferson as gladiators. But beyond the 3:00 TV commercial, Pepsi challenged us to come up with additional ways to engage with customers in a more meaningful way.

Solution: To help make the Make Your Game Day Epic campaign even more epic, we created a series of limited edition collectible Pepsi cans featuring each of the talent and developed an interactive AR experience paired with the cans. We brought each character to life from image stills and audio recorded on set, giving them their own humorous twist on ancient Roman speak. In addition to the limited edition cans, we also launched the AR experience on posters and other media in 420 Regal Cinemas across the country.
